Human Skull Kapala

Human bone skull cap, an offering bowl. When filled with blood it is known as Ashrakapala, and called Mamsakapala when filled with flesh. In tantric rituals the deities are summoned to partake of the blood or flesh of the demon. These are plain with a white metal lining and small repousse silver stampings around the outside.
